Raspberry Pi 5 MIPI DSI cable: the 22-to-15-pin display ribbon cable
This DSI ribbon cable connects a display fitted with the standard 15-pin DSI connector to the 22-pin mini connector of the Raspberry Pi 5 or a Compute Module IO board. Available in 200, 300 and 500 mm, it lets you move the board further from the display or replace a damaged ribbon cable.

Our advice: 200 mm for compact mounting, 300 mm to move the board into a case, 500 mm to place the display further from the board.
Compatibility and pitfalls to avoid
- Raspberry Pi 5 and Compute Module IO boards : 22-pin mini connector.
- Raspberry Pi 4 and earlier : 15-pin connector, this ribbon cable is not suitable.
- Orientation : the small end (22 pins) goes on the Raspberry Pi 5, with the metal contacts facing the Ethernet and USB ports.
- Cameras : Raspberry Pi offers a separate Standard-Mini camera ribbon cable; use the display ribbon cable for a display.
- Handling : switch off and unplug the board, and do not fold the ribbon cable at a sharp angle.
