| Kit | Format | Memory | Storage | Main advantage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Raspberry Pi 5 Desktop Kit | Cased board + separate keyboard | 4 or 8 GB | microSD 32 GB | Access to every connector: camera, DSI display, PCIe |
| Raspberry Pi 500 Kit | Keyboard computer | 8 GB | microSD 32 GB | All-in-one, a single item on the desk |

| Raspberry Pi 5 Starter Kit | Board + essentials | Depending on version | See product page | For those who already own a keyboard and mouse |
Choose the Desktop Kit if you want to keep the board accessible for projects (camera, HAT, SSD) while having a real desktop workstation. For pure office use, the keyboard computer is more compact. All our workstations are grouped in the office automation kits.
Compatibility and pitfalls
- No additional Active Cooler : the case already uses the Raspberry Pi 5 fan connector.
- SSD NVMe : in this case, only the HAT+ M.2 Compact fits, with a 2230 SSD.

- Camera : the camera module connects to the Pi 5 with a 22-to-15-pin ribbon cable.
- Screens : micro-HDMI outputs, the two required cables are supplied.
Recommended accessories
- M.2 HAT+ Compact : adds a 2230 NVMe SSD inside the official case, while keeping the fan.
