L'12 V 2 A power supply for ODROID-N2L is Hardkernel's official power adapter in the European plug version: 100 to 240 V switching adapter, 12 V DC output at 2 A, 1.5 m cable ending in a center-positive 5.5 x 2.1 mm jack. This is the power supply the manufacturer recommends for the ODROID-N2L, which is sold without a power adapter.
The N2L accepts 7.5 to 16 V. Hardkernel measured about 1.8 W at idle, 4 W during video playback and just over 5 W under CPU load: the 24 W of this adapter leave a comfortable margin for the fan and USB peripherals.

Our advice: for an ODROID, stick with the Hardkernel adapter. A board designed for 5 V would be destroyed by a 12 V power supply.
Compatibility and pitfalls to avoid
- Check three points before connecting another board: 12 V within the accepted range, 5.5 x 2.1 mm jack, center positive.
- No USB charger : the ODROID-N2L is powered only through its DC jack.
- 3.5-inch hard drive : use an enclosure with its own power supply. A low-power SSD in a USB enclosure works without any problem.
- Connection order : jack into the board first, then adapter into the mains. Shut down the system before unplugging to protect the eMMC or microSD.
- Adapter appearance : Hardkernel states that it may change without notice, with the electrical specifications remaining identical.
