Comments
When you leave a comment on our site, the data entered in the comment form, as well as your IP address and your browser's user agent, are collected to help us detect undesirable comments.
An anonymized string created from your e-mail address (also known as a hash) may be sent to the Gravatar service to verify your use of the service. Gravatar's privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment has been validated, your profile photo will be publicly visible alongside your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the site, we advise you to avoid uploading images containing EXIF data of GPS coordinates. People visiting your site may download and extract location data from these images.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site, you will be asked to save your name, e-mail address and site in cookies. This is only for your convenience, so that you don't have to enter this information if you leave another comment later. These cookies expire after one year.
If you go to the login page, a temporary cookie will be created to determine whether your browser accepts cookies. It contains no personal data and will be deleted automatically when you close your browser.
When you log in, we will set a number of cookies to record your login information and screen preferences. The lifetime of a connection cookie is two days, that of a screen option cookie is one year. If you check "Remember me", your login cookie will be kept for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookie will be deleted.
By modifying or publishing a publication, an additional cookie will be stored in your browser. This cookie does not contain any personal data. It simply indicates the ID of the publication you have just modified. It expires after one day.
Embedded content from other sites
Articles on this site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other sites behaves in the same way as if the visitor were visiting that other site.
These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed third-party tracking tools, track your interactions with these embedded contents if you have a logged-in account on their website.
Use and transmission of your personal data
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset e-mail.
Data storage periods
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This makes it possible to automatically recognize and approve subsequent comments, rather than leaving them in the moderation queue.
For accounts that register on our site (where applicable), we also store the personal data indicated in their profile. All accounts can view, modify or delete their personal information at any time (with the exception of their login). Site managers can also view and modify this information.
Audience measurement
To improve the shop, we measure anonymously how it is used: pages viewed and the sequence of pages, time spent, scroll depth, areas clicked, origin of the visit (referring site or campaign link), steps completed in the purchase journey (add to cart, cart, checkout, confirmation) and page loading speed on your device.
This measurement is carried out by an in-house tool, hosted on the site's server, with no third-party service and no cookies. Two random identifiers are kept in your browser: the first, in session storage, groups the pages of a single visit and disappears when the tab is closed; the second, in local storage, is used solely to count returning visitors. This second identifier is specific to this site, it is never used on another site or linked to any other data (customer account, order, messaging), and it is automatically replaced 13 months after its creation, without being extended by your new visits.
Your IP address is not recorded: the country is only estimated from your device's time zone. The content of the fields you fill in is never collected (only the fact that a form has been submitted is counted). On the checkout, confirmation and customer account pages, only the visit to the step is counted: no clicks, no order number, no delivery or payment information is measured. On the cart page, clicks are counted without the text or link of the elements clicked.
To display the number of visitors present, the site receives a presence signal every 30 seconds while the page is open, deleted after one hour. The data is used solely to produce statistics for ENVYTECH (publisher of monraspberry.com), is neither shared nor sold, and is automatically deleted after 13 months.
In line with the CNIL's recommendations, this audience measurement is exempt from consent. It is not activated if your browser sends the Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal. You can object to it at any time by following this opt-out link (your refusal is stored in your browser) or by writing to pi@monraspberry.com. No recording of your browsing (session replay) is carried out.
In addition to this internal tool, the site uses third-party services: Google Analytics (Google), Jetpack Stats and WooCommerce Analytics (Automattic), WooCommerce order attribution, the Trustpilot review widget and a Google Maps map on the Contact page. These services may set cookies or other trackers: their list, purpose, duration and the applicable consent rules are detailed in the cookie policy.
The rights you have over your data
If you have an account or if you have left comments on the site, you may request to receive a file containing all the personal data we hold about you, including that which you have provided to us. You can also request the deletion of your personal data. This does not include data stored for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Where your data is sent
Visitor comments can be checked using an automated spam detection service.
