The Pironman 5 NVMe Mini PC Case is a premium case for the Raspberry Pi 5, designed to turn your board into a compact and powerful machine. It combines good looks, advanced heat dissipation and numerous features, making it much more than a simple case.
Design and materials
The case is mainly made of aluminum, combined with transparent acrylic side panels. This hybrid structure offers sturdiness, heat dissipation and an attractive look. The slim “mini-tower” design fits all the Pi 5 components into a compact yet high-performance format.
Advanced cooling
- Equipped with a central tower cooler that draws heat from the core of the system.
- Two RGB fans (with PWM mode) boost ventilation, even during intensive use.
- Inside, the components benefit from optimized airflow, ensuring stable temperatures even under prolonged load.
NVMe support & expansion
The case has an M.2 PCIe NVMe slot (M key), compatible with 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280 sizes. This lets you connect an NVMe SSD for ultra-fast storage or an AI module (Hailo-8L for example).
In addition, thanks to the case's architecture, the Pi 5's ports (HDMI, USB, Ethernet, power) are neatly routed to the rear, offering easy and tidy access.
OLED display and RGB LEDs
A 0.96″ OLED display is built into the front: it shows useful information such as the IP address, CPU load, temperature, free RAM, etc.
From RGB LEDs are also included, which can be synchronized with the fans or configured to suit your visual preferences.
Additional features & ergonomics
- Button power/safe-shutdown to shut the system down cleanly via a built-in script.
- Receiver IR (38 kHz) to add remote control if you wish.
- Connectors GPIO / external expansion accessible without removing the board.
- Slot for an RTC battery (CR1220) to keep the time when no power is present.
Dimensions and compatibility
The case measures approximately 67.8 × 98.6 × 101.5 mm for the “Mini” version of the model, making it a compact version of the full Pironman 5 case.
It is compatible with all Raspberry Pi 5 versions (2 GB, 4 GB, 8 GB, etc.). The case also accepts accessories such as the AI module (Hailo-8L) or NVMe SSDs.
