Description
TV HAT lets you receive and decode digital TV (DTT) streams on your Raspberry Pi, thanks to its built-in DVB-T2 tuner. You can then view these streams on any computer connected to the same network as the Pi. We recommend using this device with a Raspberry Pi 2, 3, 3+ or higher for optimum performance. To decode streams and display content, we recommend using TVHeadend software, for which you'll find configuration instructions below. Note that the TV HAT can decode one multiplex stream at a time, and each of these streams can contain several channels. Content can be viewed either directly on the Raspberry Pi to which the TV HAT is connected, or remotely via another device on the same network. The TV HAT supports DVB-T2 and DVB-T TV broadcasting standards, with reception on VHF III, UHF IV and UHF V frequencies. Different channel bandwidths are also supported according to DVB-T2 and DVB-T standards. Be sure to check the permits and licenses required to receive TV broadcasts in your country before use.
