Description

Visit Pico Explorer Base is an ingenious expansion board for the Raspberry Pi Pico (not included). It serves as an all-in-one educational and experimental platform, integrating multiple essential functions in a compact, scalable format.

An all-in-one environment for experimentation

It combines a mini breadboard for quick assembly, a piezo speakera small 1.54″ IPS color LCD screen (240 × 240 px) with four buttons, and a set of motor drivers (H-Bridge) to animate moving components. It's the ideal basis for learning physical programming, building prototypes, and creating small robots or interactive instruments.

Controls and display

The integrated screen can be used to display data, graphics or user interfaces. The four buttons around the screen offer a simple method of interaction (menu, navigation or direct control). The piezo loudspeaker adds a sound dimension: alerts, melodies or sound feedback can be easily generated.

Motor control and protection

Two integrated motor control channels enable direct control of two DC motors via an H-Bridge controller, with an overload indicator LED. This facilitates the creation of mobile systems, such as small vehicles or motorized floodlights.

Easy access to pins

The board provides clear access to your Raspberry Pi Pico's GPIO and ADC pins via labeled connectors. Two dedicated "Breakout Garden I2C" slots let you add other modules or sensors without soldering, to quickly expand your possibilities.

Scalable, intuitive assembly

With its compact size (approx. 117 × 63 × 20 mm), it is stable thanks to its rubber feet. No soldering is required, provided male pins have been attached to the underside of the Raspberry Pi Pico board. A printed "landing" area indicates the correct orientation for fast, error-free connection.

Accessible programming

Complete libraries are available in MicroPython and C/C++You'll be able to manage the screen, buttons, speaker, motors or modules added via Breakout Garden. You can code educational projects, simple games or dynamic interfaces.
