The Waveshare SIM7600G-H 4G HAT (B) adds a 4G cellular connection and a GNSS receiver to a Raspberry Pi Zero. It is based on the SIMCom module SIM7600G-H<\/strong>, the global band version of the SIM7600: LTE Cat-4 up to 150 Mb\/s download and 50 Mb\/s upload (theoretical rates), with automatic fallback to 3G and 2G (GSM\/GPRS\/EDGE).<\/p>\n

The board has the Raspberry Pi Zero form factor (65 x 32 mm). Under a Pi Zero or Zero W, it connects through pogo pins<\/strong> that carry USB and power: no cable needed. With another Raspberry Pi, a Jetson Nano board or a PC, it connects with a micro-USB cable<\/strong> (included). The link is USB only: the GPIO header is not used.<\/p>\n

A USB hub<\/strong> provides two USB-A ports, handy on a Pi Zero that has only one USB port. The 3.5 mm jack and the audio decoder let you make and receive calls, and the modem handles SMS.<\/p>\n
